Nepal Police Club (NPC) advanced to final of British Gurkha Cup defeating Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marysangdi Club (MMC) 1-0 in the match played at Dasharath Stadium on Thursday.
Yogesh Shrestha scored a goal for NPC to secure victory against MMC in the 27th minute despite immense pressure from the opponent. NPC’s goalie Ritesh Thapa who was later declared 'Man of the Match' guided the team toward victory as he made about half-a-dozen saves including spot-kick from Anil Gurung.
Now, NPC will vie with Mega Three Star Club (TSC) in the final match on Saturday. nepalnews.com
