Everest Challengers and Max Media won their respective matches in the ongoing the first Wai Wai Corporate Premier League T20 Cricket played at Kirtipur TU Ground on Thursday.

Everest defeated You We Rangers by seven wickets losing three wickets, meeting the target 110 runs in 19.1 overs.

Arun Chand contributed 45 runs while Chatur Chand and Om Karmacharya scored 28 runs and 15 runs respectively while Rabin Thapaliya grabbed two wickets while Shankar Thapa, Chatur Chand, Bedendra Prasad Gupta and Sanjay Thing took one wicket each, respectively to secure victory.

Nikhil Goyal scored 30 runs, Abhishek Agrawal 23 runs, Aditya Todi 13 runs and Rahul Dhanuka 11 runs for Rangers.

In another match of the day, Max Media defeated Global Bank by 10 runs.

Electing to bat first, Max scored 120 runs losing nine-wickets in 20 overs as Prithivi Kharel scored 20 runs, Padyu Dhanwantari 16 runs and Kuldip Malla 13 runs.

While chasing the target 121 runs, Global Bank scored only 110 runs losing eight-wickets in 20 overs. Ranjan Thapa and Bobby Mulmi scored 29 runs and 18 runs, respectively.

Saroj Maharjan took three wickets while Prithivi Kharel and Deepak Singh grabbed two wickets each for Max while Ranjan Thapa grabbed three-wickets for Global Bank. nepalnews.com
