Yeti Airlines and Agni Air advanced to semi-final of the First Wai Wai Corporate T20 Cricket Tournament.

Yeti Airlines thrashed Nepal Telecom by 34 runs to enter the semi-final as Group 'B' winner while Agni Air defeated UNICEF by 103 runs to top Group 'C' in the match played at Kirtipur TU Ground on Saturday.

Electing to bat first, Yeti Airlines scored 188 losing six-wickets as Sandeep Shrestha scored 75 runs, Ravi Sharma 32 runs, Narendra KC 26 runs, and Divas Prajapati 11 runs. Divas Prajapati grabbed three-wickets, Mohammad Rafi took two-wickets and Prafulla Vaidya took one-wicket for Yeti.

While chasing the target, Nepal Telecom could score only 154 runs losing eight-wickets as Dhirendra Shrestha scored 38 runs, Mukesh Raut 29 runs, Netra Bhatta 21 runs, Yubaraj Shrestha 18 runs and Gopal KC 11 runs while Pradeep Khatiwada grabbed three-wickets, Binay Pokhrel took two-wickets and Dhirendra Shrestha took one-wicket.

Similarly, in another match of the day, Agni Air scored 198 runs losing eight-wickets as Gaurav Jain contributed 74 runs, Rahul Bansal 44 runs, Saurav KC 18 runs, Rabinda Singh 18 runs and Pranav Malla 11 runs. Saurav KC grabbed two-wickets while Rahul Bansal, Ram Rawal, Chiranj Shrivastav, Pranav Malla, Prajwal Shrestha and Bikash Tamang took one-wicket each.

Chasing the target, UNICEF scored only 95 runs losing eight-wickets as Will Parks scored 26 runs, Binoy Dil Lama 13 runs while Pradiumna Dahal and Samyam Rana Magar scored 12 runs each. Bibek Sharma Poudel took two-wickets while Krishna Sunar, Sushil Rana Magar 8, Pradiumna Dahal and Binod took one-wicket each. nepalnews.com
