Yeti Airlines and Agni Air entered into the final of the first Wai Wai Corporate Premier League Twenty20 Cricket Tournament on Monday.

In the semi-final matches, Yeti Airlines thrashed Everest Challengers by 38 runs while Agni Air defeated You We Rangers by five-wickets played at Kirtipur TU Ground.

Electing to bat first, Yeti Airlines scored 178 runs losing three-wickets as Ravi Sharma contributed 80 runs, Sandeep Shrestha 39 runs and Prafulla Vaidya 24 runs. Arun Chand, Narendra Chand and Rabin Thapaliya grabbed one-wicket each for Everest Challengers.

Chasing the target, Challengers scored only 140 runs losing five-wickets as Om Karmacharya scored highest of 33 runs and Rabin Thapaliya 27 runs. Prafulla grabbed four-wickets while Sandeep took a wicket fro Yeti.

In another seimi-final match, Rangers posted the target of 136 runs losing six-wickets in 19 overs as Chirag Mahipal scored 39 runs and Aditya Todi 34 runs. Saurav KC took three-wickets and Rabindra Singh took two-wickets while Gaurav Jain took a wicket for Agni.

Chasing the target, Nazir scored 54 runs and Prajwal Shrestha scored a run-a-ball 26. Rahul Dhanuka and Vivek Khetan took two-wickets each for Rangers. nepalnews.com
