Nepal Police Club defeated McDowell’s Mohun Bagan Club (MBC) from India 2-0 in a friendly match played at Dasharath Stadium on Saturday.
Santosh Sahukhala and Bharat Khawas scored one each goals in the last 10 minutes of the match to defeat visiting Mohun Bagan Club, India’s oldest football club.
Sahukhala scored an opening goal in the 80th minute while Khawas doubled the tally in the 86th minute to secure victory.
The injury hit NPC had to hire players including Sahukhala, Khawas, Kiran Chemjong, Sandip Rai and Biraj Maharjan for the friendly match. Nepalnews.com
