The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) added two new players in the closed camp training for ACC U-19 Asia Cup on Friday.

Two fast bowlers Saurav Khanal of Bhairahawa and Naresh Giri of Birgunj have been added in the 24-member squad as per the recommendation of coach Pubudu Dasanayake.

Both the players have played in the Wai-Wai U-19 National Cricket Tournament recently.

Previously, the CAN had announced the name of 24-member squad including the 14 players that participated in the ICC U-19 Cricket Cup Qualifiers while remaining 10 players were selected based on their performance in recently concluded Wai Wai U-19 National Cricket Tournament.

The ACC U-19 Asia Cup is scheduled to be held in Malaysia from June 23 to July 1, this year. nepalnews.com
