Nepal U-19 team led by Prithu Baskota thrashed Millennium International Sports Club from India by a huge run margin of 255 runs in the fifth closed camp practice match for the ACC U-19 Asia Cup organised by Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) at Kirtipur TU Ground on Tuesday.

In the first inning, Nepal U-19 team scored a total of 358 runs losing seven wickets in 50 overs.

Rajesh Pulami scored a century unbeaten while Prithu Baskota scored 88 runs, Krishna Karki 53 runs unbeaten, Pradeep Airee 32 runs, Subash Khakurel 15 runs and Sagar Pun 11 runs to post a huge target for neighbouring country team from Delhi.

Tarun Raghuwanshi, Sumit Panwar and Saurav Suneja took two wickets each while Yogesh Sharma took one wicket for Indian club.

While chasing the target, Millennium International were restricted to 103 runs in 31overs as Rajesh Pulami grabbed three wickets while Avinash Karn and Bhuwan Karki took two wickets for Nepal U-19. Similarly, Krishna Karki, Nischal Pandey and Prithu Baskota took one wicket each to restrict Indian club for further score.

Pradeep Rathi scored highest of 60 runs while Saurav Suneja collected 18 runs for Indians. Nepalnews.com
