Nepal thrashed Bangladesh 4-1 while Jordan defeated Yemen 4-0 in the inaugural day match of the AFC U-22 Cup Group D Qualifiers played at Dasharath Stadium on Saturday.
Sujal Shrestha scored two goals while Bharat Khawas and Jagjeet Shrestha scored one goal each to ensure Nepal’s victory. Khawas scored an opening goal in the early 5th minute while Deepak Bhusal gifted a leveler for Bangladesh in the 48th minute.
