Nepali U-19 Men’s National Cricket Team Thursday left for Malaysia to participate in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur from June 23 to July 1.

Nepal's U-19 cricket team members pose for photograph before...The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) saw off the 19-member squad headed by team manager Chatur Bahadur Chand in the presence of member secretary of National Sports Council (NSC) Yubaraj Lama amidst a function at NSC premises today.

The U-19 team led by captain Prithu Baskota is drawn with host Malaysia, Pakistan and India in Group A while Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Qatar and Sri Lanka are in Group B. the top two teams from each Groups will qualify to the semi-finals.

The Nepali squad comprises - Prithu Baskota, Pradeep Airee, Rajesh Pulami, Sagar Pun, Naresh Budhayer, Krishna Karki, Avinash Karn, Subash Khakurel, Fazlur Rahman, Bhuwan Karki, Hasim Ansari, Rahul Vishwakarma, Gopal Kumar Singh, Saurabh Khanal, and Ramnaresh Giri.

Similarly, other members are - manager Chatur Bahadur Chand, assistant manager Bipat Ram Chaudhary, coach Pubudu Dassanayake and Physio Jang Bahadur Thapa.

Nepal is set to take on Pakistan in the first day match on June 23 while Malaysia on June 24 and India on June 26. nepalnews.com
