Armed Police Force (APF), Nepal Army and Jhapa advanced into the quarter-finals of the 14th Ncell Women´s Football Championship on Saturday.

APC defeated Dhanusha 18-0 as Anu Lama alone scored six goals while Laxmi Poudel and Sajan Rana Magar scored four goals each, Jamuna Gurung scored three goals and Pramila Rai contributed one goal in the match played at Chandranigahapur, Rautahat.

In another match played at Bara, Nepal Army defeated Kaski 8-1 as Anjali Waiba scored hat-trick while Krishna Khatri and Dipa Adhikari scored two goals each and Kalpana Karki scored one goal. Bimala Choudhary was the lone scorer for Kaski.

Similarly, Jhapa thrashed Dolakha 4-0 in another match played at Chandranigahapur as Sang Dolma Tamang, Sangita Magar, Smriti Khadka and Krishna Rai scored one goal each. nepalnews.com
