The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has decided to provide Rs 100,000 each to 16 different football teams participating in the Ncell Cup football tournament scheduled to be held in the capital from September 12.

Organising a news conference in the capital on Tuesday, ANFA vice-chairman and spokesperson Lalit Krishna Shrestha said that the participating A Division teams will be provided with the amount for the preparation.

The top two teams from each Group will qualify into the quarter-finals of the knockout tournament.

The winner team will bag Rs. 1.5 million while runner up will receive Rs. 700,000 and semi-finalists will get Rs. 150,000 each.

Meanwhile, ANFA has also decided to provide Rs 75,000 as preparation fee for teams participating in the Martyrs Memorial Red Bull C Division Football League scheduled to be held in the capital from September 5 to 19.

The winner team will bag Rs. 200,000 while runner-up team will receive Rs. 1000,000. Likewise, the best players including goalkeeper, defender, midfield and forward along with the best coach will bag Rs. 10,000 each. nepalnews.com
