Nepal defeated Pakistan 8-0 in their first Group ‘B’ match of ongoing SAFF Women’s Championship at the CR&FC grounds in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka on Saturday.
Skipper Jamuna Gurung scored four goals, striker Anu Lama made two goals and Sajana Rana and Dipa Adhikari scored one goal each for Nepal.
Nepali players are yet to compete with Maldives and Afghanistan in group B match.
Defending champion India and Nepal are the two top ranked teams in the tournament. nepalnews.com
