Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC) defeated Machhindra Club 2-1 in their first match from Group ‘B’ in the ongoing Ncell Cup football tournament played at Dasharath Stadium in the capital on Friday.

MMC’s Nirajan Malla and Sujal Shrestha scored apiece in the 62nd minute and 69th minute respectively to secure victory while Suvam Shrestha scored for Machhindra in the 28th minute.

Now, Yeti Himalayan Sherpa Club and Sankata Club are set to take on each other in their first match from Group ‘C’ on Saturday.

Three Star Club (TSC) and Iceberg Madhyapur Youth Association (MYA) had played 1-1 draw from Group ‘A’ in the opening match of the tournament on Thursday. nepalnews.com
