All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has banned player of Nabil Three Star Club Prawin Karki for one year from all matches organised or approved by it throughout the nation for assaulting a referee after a match last week.

Karki had assaulted assistant referee Madhusudan Khanal after a match with Boys Union ended on a 1-1 draw, last Friday.

ANFA's discipline committee led by vice chairman Bijaya Narayan Manandhar took action against Karki based on the report by match commissioner Kumar Thapa and match referees.
