Carlsberg Manang Marshyangdi Club (CMMC) toiled hard to beat ANFA U-16 team 1-0 to collect three important points in the on-going British Gurkha Cup Football Tournament.
Shiva Shrestha scored the match winning goal in the second half after playing a barren first half.
The ANFA U-16 team served a stern test with CMMC having to play their best to overcome the challenges of the juniors.
In the other match, Machhindra Football Club (MFC) defeated the Maoist PLA team 2-0. Mani Pundit and Pukar Ale scored one goal each to ensure a deserving victory. nepalnews.com
