In his quest for fifth Guinness record, Deepak Sharma Bajagai (24) of Lalitpur has proved that he can eat 159 grapes with a spoon within three minutes.

Until now American citizen Asrita Forman holds the record of devouring 151 grapes within three minutes. He had achieved this feat in 2008.

Deepak has already registered his name in the Guinness Book of World Records in four categories - reading continuously for 113 hours and 15 minutes, holding table tennis ball in air for 4 hours, 39 minutes and 52 seconds, eating 34 pieces of garlic in one minute and bouncing a basketball non-stop 340 times within one minute.

He displayed his new skill of eating more grapes than anyone with a spoon within three minutes on World Environment Day in Sauraha.

He said he is preparing to send all evidence to the Guinness office for recognition of his feat. nepalnews.com/RSS
