GoalNepal, the football portal dedicated to Nepal, gave away Rs 5000 per goal to all goal scorers from NRT Club that found the net in the recently held AFC Presidents Cup in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

CEO of GoalNepal Bikram Thapa giving away money to Ranjit Shrestha, one of the goal scorers in Dhaka.
This was made possible by one die-hard fan that sponsored the amount via GoalNepal.

The generous man didn’t want to be named. He said, "My name is not that important. My small contribution might motivate, boost morale and provide encouragement to all the players. I feel players are sports ambassadors around the world.”

"I want to see Nepalese football reach the top. For that, every Nepalese, where ever they are, has to support in every possible way. My contribution is very small, like a brick to build a big house!"

NRT had won the match against Hasus NTCPE from Chinese Taipei 4-3.

The goal scorers were Nabin Neupane, Ranjit Shrestha, Shayan Moshavi and Jeevan Sinkeman.

NRT general secretary, Binaya Pradhan said, “We are very happy that our fan showed his kindness by rewarding the players. Our thanks also goes to GoalNepal for arranging this program.”

The players also expressed their happiness.

“I am very happy to see such initiation from one of our fans”, Nabin Neupane, on the behalf of all goal scorers said, “We must applaud his great effort. We are grateful to him.” nepalnews.com
