A research report of a Care Nepal project has identified role of the youths as a crucial factor in peace building process.
A recently launched finding of the research titled ‘Theories of Change in Peace Building: Learning from Experiences of Peace Building Initiatives in Nepal’ said dialogue, networking and advocacy were the key factors to facilitate the changes in the peace building.
The analysis was done at four levels of change: individual, behavioural, structural and culture. The research report looks at the six peace building initiatives of six organisations in Nepal-Alliance for Peace, CARE Nepal, International Alert, Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction, Search for Common Ground and Youth Action Nepal. nepalnews.com
