One municipality and 41 VDCs of Gorkha district have been illuminated after electricity reached from the national grid, RSS reports.
Electricity lines of the national transmission were provided to all VDCs of the Constituency No. 1, and Deurali, Chyangli, Mirkot, Dhuwankot, Gaikhur, Chhoprak, Khoplang, Anppipal, Harmi, Palungtar, Gankhu, Srinathkot, Jaubari, Thalajung, and Kerabari of the Constituency No. 2.
Likewise, lines also reached to Dhawa, Masel, Baguwa, Tandrang, Arupokhari, Panchkuwa, Deurali, Takumajh Lakuribot of the Constituency No. 3, said NEA Gorkha Chief Gyanendra Acharya.
In other VDCs, people have been using electricity from the micro hydro projects. nepalnews.com
