There is no bound of happiness among locals when they manage to light up their home with the power generated from micro hydropower projects in Phulkharka VDC-6, Mulpani VDC-1 and Ree VDC-1 and 8 in the northern Dhading, RSS reports.

The entire village is bright with the electric lamps everywhere after the completion of Manpangkhola sixth in Phulkharka VDC-6 and Mulpani VDC-1 with the capacity of 10 kilowatt and 20-KW Kalsyang stream hydropower in Ree VDC-1 and 8, informed Khilnath Rijal, social mobiliser at local Committed Society for Change Nepal.

More than 102 households of Murchowk, Bhadaure, Badrichaur and Sukbhanjyang have been directly benefitted from the electricity. nepalnews.com
