Nepal promoted Visit Lumbini Year 2012 (VLY-2012) in 32nd Borsa International Tourism Exchange held in Milan, Italy, from February 16 to 19.

During the four-day event, the number of new buyers in the fair increased by 43 percent with over 500 buyers from 50 countries, said Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) in a press statement.

On the occasion, Nepal also hosted media briefing reception on February 16 and 17 where Nandini Lahe-Thapa, senior director NTB briefed them about the recent travel trend in Nepal and also highlighted the VLY-2012.

Four Travel & Trade Companies of Nepal viz Trek Nepal International, Wonderland Travels Nepal, Cho- Oyu Trekking & Yeti Travels participated in the fair under the NTB banner. nepalnews.com
