A mother killed her two babies before taking her own life in Bara district on Monday.

The mother has been identified as Ramita Chaudhary of Kulbi VDC in Bara district. Chaudhary killed her two-year old son and three-month old daughter and then took her own life, police said.

The reason behind such a drastic measure taken by the mother is not yet known.

Police say they are investigating the case, but have denied any foul play. nepalnews.com
