Councilor Gam Bahadur Gurung has collected assistance of Rs. 2.5 million from the United Kingdom for the maintenance of building of Himlaya primary school at Lumle-7, Vichchowk in Kaski, RSS reports.

Retiree of the UK Army and currently councilor from Colliers Wood located in the South West London, Gurung said he had sent this assistance for the maintenance of school at his birthplace.

He also informed that four laptops brought with the assistance of colleagues in the UK would be handed over to the primary school on April 6.

Magnanimous Gurung had already set up a revolving fund of Rs. 110,000 in the name of his parents to support Himalaya primary school.
