As many as 263 incidents of fire took place in the Kathmandu Valley during the past nine months.
Of the total incidents, Kathmandu saw 176, Lalitpur 41 and Bhaktapur 46, confirmed Office of the Metropolitan Police Commission, Ranipokhari, according to RSS.
Spokesperson at the office, Rabiraj Shrestha said some 163 incidents of fire took place due to direct fire spread, 71 because of short circuit of electricity, 27 related to gas leakage and 2 due to stove explosion. nepalnews.com
