Shanti Education Initiative Nepal (SEI Nepal), Kathmandu, handed over the newly contructed building of Gupteshwor Secondary School of Nallu, Lalitpur, on Monday.
US based Santi School Project contributed Rs. 445,050 for the completion of this project. The local community has also contributed its efforts for this project, SEI said.
Speaking on the occasion of the building handover ceremony, SEI Nepal chairman Rabindra Maharjan expressed his happiness on being able to help the school construction.
The principal of the school, Sher Bahadur Tamang, commented, “We are relieved that we do not have to conduct classes in four corners of this building. Now we can run classes in separated classrooms. For this, we are thankful to the SEI Nepal.” nepalnews.com
