Lars Gundersen of Denmark, an active promoter and Ambassador of Nepalese Tourism (since 2009) in Scandinavia has been elected President of Denmark-Nepal Society based in Denmark.

An active campaigner of Nepalese Tourism in Denmark and other Scandinavian countries, Lars Gundersen has travelled widely in Nepal since 1987 and has visited the country more than forty times.  He has served as a Board Member of the Society previously and is also the Representative of  Nepal Tourism Board in Denmark.

Gundersen is the founder-director of Kipling Travel, Denmark, an agency specializing in guided tours to Nepal and a partner agent of Explore Himalaya travel & Adventure, Nepal.

Established in 1969, the Denmark-Nepal Society has around 300 members and is one of the largest and most active cultural societies in Denmark. Nepalnews.com
