The government has announced public holiday on Sunday for the Machchhindranath Bhoto Jatra.
Machchhindranath's Bhoto (vest) will be displayed in the presence of President Ram Baran Yadav around 5:00 pm as there is no exact auspicious time for the event. Machchhindranath is known as god of rain and good harvest.
Officials of Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan city said necessary preparations to display the Bhoto have been completed. nepalnews.com
