Founding member and central leader of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Loktantrik), Sarba Dev Ojha, resigned from the party's central committee on Friday, accusing party chairman Bijay Gachchhadar's having monopoly in the party.

In his resignation letter, Ojha, a former minister, said that Gachchhadar had shown opportunistic behavior and failed to run the party affairs based on principles.

He also said Gachchhadar, as the Home Minister, had failed to check the intervention of party cadres in the police offices in Banke and other districts for financial gains.

Ojha said he would only remain a general member of the party. nepalnews.com
