A woman was found dead at Barmajhiya VDC in Saptari district on Monday morning.

Chandrakala Devi Das, 25, second wife of Mahendra Sada of Barmajhiya VDC-7, was found dead, Area Police Office, Kanchanpur told RSS.

Father of the deceased, Jogi Das, said Mahendra and his family members have been at large after he informed the locals and the Area Police Office, Kanchanpur, about the incident.

Maternal side of the deceased blamed that Chandrakala Devi was murdered as Mahendra and his family members did not inform them and police, though Mahendra said she committed suicide by hanging with a plastic rope in her own room.

Mahendra has two sons and two daughters from first wife and 10 month's child from Chandrakala Devi.

The body has been brought to Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital, Rajbiraj, for postmortem. nepalnews.com
