The District Administration Office (DAO), Dhankuta had imposed the curfew to avert clashes between cadres of CPN (UML) affiliated Youth Force (YF) and Unified CPN (Maoist) affiliated Young Communist League (YCL), yesterday.
Tension had begun in Dhankuta after YCL cadres torched nine motorcycles used by YF cadres in Sidhuwa Monday night. YF had called an indefinite bandh from Tuesday protesting the Monday's incident.
