Rajendra Regmi participating in Venice full Marathon.Rajendra Regmi from the Nepalese Himalayan Association Scotland (NHAS), Aberdeen, UK participated in the 42 Kms Venice full Marathon, Italy, held on the 28th of October 2012 to raise money for Aama Ko Ghar, a philanthropic shelter for the homeless initiated by Dil Shobha Shrestha.

He raised a total of Rs. 250,000, which was handed in person to Aama Ko Ghar by comedian Hari Bansha Acharya in presence of NHAS member Bhuwan Dhwaj Thapa.

Regmi works as a research fellow at the University of Aberdeen. He was also a part of the Edinburgh Marathon Team last year that raised more than Rs. 550,000 for Mugu Health Post. nepalnews.com
