Two persons  were killed and four others injured in a lightning strike at Maharanijhoda of Jhapa, Thursday.

Rudra Karki and Tara Subedi died on the spot when a lightning struck them at about 2 pm, Thursday while working  in the field.

Goma Subedi, Debi Maya Subedi, Asha Karki and Debi Maya Shrestha were injured by the lightning. They are undergoing treatment in Jhapa and BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan. nepalnews.com
