The number of people killed in the tractor accident in Sankhuwasabha Saturday has reached four with the death of Ambar Rai and Rajkumar Tamang Saturday.

Rai and Tamang both residents of Khandbari, Sankhuwasabha, died while being taken to the hospital.

Earlier, Bhim Bahadur Karki and Ambar Shrestha, aka Pakhribase Maila, had been killed on the spot when the tractor heading towards Shitalpati from Khandbari had an accident after the tractor’s brakes stopped functioning.

Tractor driver Bishal Kumal, helper Ramesh Kumal, Prem Prasad Pokhrel and Kaji Tamang have been seriously injured in the accident.Â

The deceased and the injured were returning home after shopping at the weekly market in district headquarter Khandbari.

The injured are being treated at Sankhuwasabha district hospital. nepalnews.com
