Officials at the Tumlingtar Airport of Sankhuwasabha district noticed problems with the gear system in a passenger aircraft of Agni Airlines after its successful landing in the airport Thursday.

The Twin Otter plane failed to reach the cab parking due to wheel-jam in one of its wheel, various media reported sourcing Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) at the airport.

The plane took off from Kathmandu carrying 16 passengers.

Reports said there was no human casualty in the incident with Nepal Army and Nepal Police managing to rescue the all passengers and crew safely.

Besides connecting the TIA with Tumlingtar, the airline has been operating domestic flights to different destinations including Biratnagar, Bhadrapur, Pokhara, Jomsom and Lukla, among other. nepalnews.com
