The Non-Resident Nepalis Association (NRNA) has urged the government to provide income tax discount while registration like that of the social organisations.
During the meeting with Finance Minister Shankar Prasad Koirala at the Ministry on Sunday, NRNA chairman Shesh Ghale requested such waiver in income tax and registration so that it would involve in the social activities.
Ghale also requested the FM Koirala to take initiatives to scrap the double tax levied on NRN investors.
In response, Koirala urged the NRNs to make investment under the law. “The government is always committed to support NRNs.” he said.
