12 m collected to save Anish Khaling

With support from well-wishers and donors at home and abroad, a total of 12 million rupees has been collected to save the life of Anil Khaling, who has been announced a death sentence by the Dubai court in the UAE.

The Save Anis Khaling Campaign has so far collected Rs. 12.2 million to save Khaling, who is facing a death penalty for the murder of a Pakistani citizen, according to Coordinator Narad Kumar Rai.

As the verdict of Dubai court, Khaling's life could however be saved with a 'blood money' of Rs. 8.6 million.

The campaign has also been making legal consultation in order to free Khaling from the jail in the UAE, adds Coordinator Rai.
