The price of gold has increased by Rs 600 per tola in the domestic market on the last trading day, Friday compared to the previous day.
Gold was traded at Rs 55,800 per tola (11.664 gm) in the domestic market today while the price of the precious metal was Rs 55,200 per tola on Thursday.
The precious yellow metal was traded at US$ 1,305 per ounce against US$ 1,290 on Thursday, state-owned news agency quoted President of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association Maniratna Shakya as saying.
The gold price is affected in the domestic market following the price change in the international market.
Similarly, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 15 per tola to Rs 875 today.
