Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has dipped for the second consecutive week by 6.68 points to close at 806.43 points on Thursday from Monday’s 811.79 points, last week.
The secondary market was closed on Sunday as it was a public holiday.
As per the sub-indices, other group lost 16.44 points, development banks lost 7.34 points and commercial banks lost 6.68 points.
However, hotels group gained 37.38 points, hydropower 21.04 points, insurance 10.82 points and finance 0.13 points. Meanwhile, manufacturing and trading groups remained unchanged over a week.
The transaction amount has also decreased by 19.32 percent to Rs 1.19 billion, last week, compared to Rs 1.47 billion, the previous week. The same amount was up by 32.97 percent, the previous week.
Nepal Bank has topped the chart in terms of highest transaction registering Rs 124.139 million.
The index had dropped by 6.3 points to settle at 826.40 points, the previous week.
