Mercantile launches EPSON printers

Mercantile Office Systems (MOS) the sole authorised distributor of digital imaging company Epson for Nepal conducted a workshop on Stylus Pro 7900 (24-inch) and Stylus Pro 9900 (44-inch) ink jet printers in the capital on 19 March.

According to the press statement, these printers combine the precision of Epson's MicroPiezo TFP™ print head with the extraordinary performance of Epson UltraChrome® HDR Ink. This newest generation of Epson Stylus Pro printers represents a level of technology unprecedented in Epson’s history, the company added.

“These printers have 10-colour printing system which includes all-new orange and green inks ad have a print resolution of 2880 x 1440 dpi.”

These latest introductions in the Stylus Pro Series are can handle virtually any media type, in roll or cut sheet, up to 24 or 44 inches wide.

These printers are best suited for producing color or black-and-white photography, fine art reproduction, producing color accurate commercial and flexographic proofs for client approvals.

“The workshop also featured Epson SL D3000 and SL D700 dry lab system printers which are compact 6-colour printers with a print resolution of 1440 x 720 dpi and are low power consumption devices. SL D3000 is suitable or high volume photo productions whereas SL D700 is for small to medium production runs or kiosk prints.” according to the company.

The printers are available at Mercantile Office Systems, Durbarmarg with a year warranty.
