Nembang expresses sadness over tendency to become rich overnight

Constituent Assembly (CA) chairperson Subash Nembang has said that the increasing tendency among people to try to become rich overnight should be discouraged immediately.

NN/RH“Both the industrialists and businessmen including the general people are afflicted with the tendency of becoming rich overnight. Trends like these should be discouraged,” CA chair Nembang said while addressing the 48th Annual General Assembly (AGM) of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI).

Saying that the country is well on its way to emerge out of the current transition period, Nembang said that the country will soon experience rapid economic development due to this positive development.

He also expressed sadness over the sharp growth in import of agriculture products in the country, adding that the yearly increase in the import of these products from India into an agro-based country like Nepal is a matter of great concern as well as embarrassment.
