Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has witnessed positive growth this week, as it gained 4.91 points to settle at 820.38 points on Wednesday.
The same index had increased by 7.36 points on Tuesday, the third trading day. The index had dipped by 6.54 points to settle at 811.89 points on Thursday from Sunday’s 818.43 points, last week.
Except other sectors and hydropower, all the sub-indices have gained, as hotels witnessed positive growth by 82.71 points, manufacturing 61.34 points, finance 2.21 points, banking 2.3 points and development banks 1.33 points.
Other and hydropower groups lost 7.05 points and 1.56 points, respectively.
The secondary market also registered a turnover of Rs 336.8 million through 2421 transactions with 131 companies.
