Japanese Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs in charge of South Asia Region, Seiji Kihara, has expressed a continued support in the socio-economic development of Nepal.
During the meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs Mahendra Bahadur Pandey at his office in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Minister Kihara also expressed happiness over the successful election of the second Constituent Assembly which led to the process of constitution writing in Nepal.
Matters related to bilateral relations, and various regional, international and other issues of mutual interest were also discussed between the two sides, according to the press statement issued by the Ministry.
Similarly, Minister Pandey also expressed appreciation to the government of Japan for their support to election and also for the Japanese assistance in development endeavours of Nepal.
Kihara is leading a five member delegation comprising officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
