Gold price went up by Rs. 600 on the first day of the week, Sunday, compared to Friday.
The price of hallmark gold was fixed at Rs. 54,000 per tola, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA) said. It was Rs. 53,400 per tola on Friday.
“The hike was as per the increase of its price in international market,” said FENEGOSIDA Chairman Maniratna Shakya. Likewise, worked gold was traded at Rs. 53,750 on Sunday as compared to Rs. 53, 150 on Friday. Silver price increased by Rs. 7 and reached Rs. 829.
