A College Activation has been launched to inform students about Nepal’s biggest App Contest – the NCell App Camp, according to an NCell statement on Thursday.
On the first day, interaction was held with students of Kathmandu College of Management at Gwarko, Lalitpur. Students were informed about the benefits of participating in the contest and its commercial potentials.
The App Camp has been launched with the aim of bringing Nepal’s digital possibilities to the fore and to motivate young developers to engage in the latest forms of businesses, says the statement.
The contest will be held in four categories – agriculture, corporate solution, education and tourism. App developers and interested groups can register their ideas for free by 12 a.m. October 28.
The NCell has introduced this program as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. The category-wise winners will get Rs 25,000 each, while the main winner will get Rs 500,000 more and an opportunity to participate in similar international App Camps abroad.
