Nepal Army marks sending 100000 soldiers for UN missions

With a Nepal Army team recently returning after serving in the UN Mission for Stabilisation of Congo (MONUSCO), the number of Nepalese soldiers who have served in peacekeeping assignments has reached one lakh, the army headquarters said in a statement.

A special function was organized at army headquarters to mark one lakh personnel serving in peacekeeping missions in 12 countries since 1958.
