Nepal is almost out of the tournament after second defeat as it has already lost against Turkmenistan 2-1 in its first match. However, Nepal will still play against Uzbekistan on October 8 and host Qatar on October 10 to keep its hopes alive.
So far, with two consecutive loses Nepal is at the bottom of the chart among the contenders Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and host Qatar in Group A.
Host Qatar is at the top of the chart with three points, followed by Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and India with same three points on goal differences.
The group winners of the nine groups alongside six best-placed sides and hosts Myanmar will advance to the final of the tournament.
