At a time when tens of thousands animals are being sacrificed in the name of celebration, the Kavir community nurturing Kavir philosophy are making the public aware towards marking non-violent Dashain.
A programme is on the offing at Kavir Ashram in Madhumalla VDC in Damak districtwith the message that 'Let us be kind to animals and not to offer sacrifice in the name of god'.
Chairperson of Kavir Ashram Madhumalla Kamal Bhandari said offering sacrifice of animals in the name of god is a big crime and urged all to not do such violent activities in the public places.
A three-day conference of more than 25,000 non-violent Kavirs to take place from coming December 7 has decided to put forward a programme to develop Madhumalla a tourism area.
The conference will take ahead the philosophy of non-violence, said Chairperson of the Conference Netra Prasad Khanala Netradas. RSS
