Amid discontent and criticism expressed by two deputies Babauram Bhattarai and Narayan Kaji Shrestha, the UCPN (Maoist) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal has come up with a ‘final report’ to be presented in the party’s central committee meeting on Thursday.

The report has evaluated party’s defeat in the recently concluded Constituent Assembly (CA) elections, concurrently mentioning the party line in future, it is learnt.

“Mistakes are normal when we discharge our works. It is the duty of a revolutionary to move ahead correcting the mistakes,” Dahal said on Wednesday.

Dismissing the reports of party split, Dahal said they are only the rumors. “We are moving ahead united. Discussions inside the party won’t split the party,” he said.

Commenting on the government formation process, Dahal said his party will remain in the opposition. “We won’t participate in the government. Our first priority is to enact a new constitution in one year through co-work and consensus,” he said.
