CPN-UML Chairperson Jhalanath Khanal has said that the party's parliamentary party (PP) leader would be selected through a consensus.
Talking to media persons after emerging out from the Legislature-Parliament meeting on Sunday, Khanal claimed that there was no dispute in the party regarding the selection of the PP leader. The UML Chairman also said the UML leaders were effortful for forging consensus for the same.
Asked about the chances of UML joining the Nepali Congress-led majority government, Khanal said, "Discussions are underway. The UML is seeking a dignified position in the government."
The UML is scheduled to hold election to elect its PP leader on February 4, Tuesday.
