The election process for the post of Prime Minister began with the filing of nominations at the International Convention Center (ICC) in New Baneshwor on Saturday.
The parliament secretariat has scheduled 10 am to 5 pm today for filing of nominations for the post of prime minister at the election office in CA building.
Based on the nominations filed at the stipulated time, a final list of the candidates will be published at 5.30 pm on Sunday, according the parliament secretariat. Election for the new prime minister would be held at the Legislative-Parliament on February 10.
Nepali Congress, the largest party in the CA, and UML, the second largest party in the CA, have already declared Sushil Koirala and K.P Oli respectively, as their candidates for the PM post.
